Fran Gordon is an artist/activist with over twenty years of involvement in the Jewish communal world, most notably in the field of Israel-Diaspora relations. As a leader in the Cleveland-Beit Shean Partnership, Fran worked within the Jewish Agency framework, learning from and with Israelis about the the nature of Israel’s evolving civil society. The Sacred Rights, Sacred Song Project is a weaving of her passionate Zionism with her Jewish musical roots, as well as her political science, legal and Wexner Heritage Foundation education. Fran raised her three children, Rachel, Sarah and David in Cleveland and Jerusalem, is the proud mother-in-law of Raffi and can be seen walking her dog Maccabee in Beachwood when not in Jerusalem.
